I also watched the opening credits of the film called Splice. Like "Dawn of the Dead", I have taken note of what is displayed throughout the credits.
- The writing is displayed in white font on a black background, and the transition fades the words in and out of the screen.
- The film institution is shown first, (Warner Bro's, a Dark Castle Entertainment).
- Unknown image/video, creates an uncomfortable feeling for the audience as they are unsure what it is.
- The goes on to show actors and actresses names who star in the movie.
- Names of people who are key in the production stages such as make-up, music and special effects are shown.
- Unlike "Dawn of the Dead", the film name appears last in the opening credits.
